Our Main site, located at 3000 West 1st Street in the Brighton Beach/Coney Island neighborhood supports our secondary program. Students in grades 6 through 12 attend school in this building. We have sixteen classes across these grades. We have two 12:1:1 classes and thirteen 6:1:1 classes. We also have a bi-lingual Yiddish middle school 12:1:1 class.
Our school works on natural environment training – connecting everything the students learn to their world and life skills.
We utilize the Unique N2Y curriculum for ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies. We also infuse the Essentials Skills for Living program in to our instruction. All students in the main building are assessed with this curriculum and we build their individual goals around what they need to move forward into the world of independence to the best of their individual abilities.
